This week we reflect on the opening verses of James 3, which dive into the issue of words we speak. Keeping a check on our tongues is one of the most challenging things to do in life, and so often the words we speak are fractured from the faith we profess. What are the situations or stressors that might lead us to speak words that aren’t fitting for who we are in Christ? How can we go about reining in our tongues from day to day?
