As we continue our reflection in James, we come to this text which highlights the need for godly wisdom in our business dealings and the overall planning of our lives. James calls on Christians to not be reliant on their own wisdom or on the resources they have accumulated. Instead, our planning for any area of life should be centered on the Lord and his wisdom and character.
