As we continue our series in James, we come now to chapter 4. Here James points to some of the struggles we know in life and in the church, and says that behind this is our wanting to have friendship with the world, which comes at the expense of our friendship with the Lord. In order to live more into the life God intends for us, we need to submit our lives to him and take advantage of the opportunity he gives us in Jesus to once again be in friendship with him.
