We conclude our summer series reflecting on the clothing imagery in Scripture by going to the end of the story in Revelation. In this passage, we see a vision of God’s people gathered around his throne dressed in white robes and worshiping him. This is a picture of where God’s plan is leading his people to. A day is coming when we will be clothed only in purity and the blessing of God because we have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. We long for this day, and trust the Lord when he says it is coming. In the power of the Spirit, we also strive to live toward this day now, despite the troubles that often meet us in our lives.
