As we continue to consider the “garden”, as God originally created it, it was perfect right down to the very last flower. God was present in the garden with Adam and Eve and they shared in the special privilege of being in close communion with him. After following the desires of their hearts, Adam and Eve were removed from the perfect garden and God’s presence. God sent his son Jesus into this world to be the “way” for his people, to help them find their way back to the garden and to him. Unfortunately, the desires or our hearts continue to be a barrier to the amazing gift of the “way” and to the relationship God wants to have with each of us. What things need to be uprooted from your life so that you may experience the presence of God and the garden again?
