We continue our series on the fruit of the Spirit by reflecting on kindness and how we can be bearing this fruit in our lives. Kindness in Scripture is often tied with benevolence, actions taken to go into the gap caused by needs in our lives, whatever form those needs might take. The actions of kindness flow from God’s display of this toward us, as we see him go into the gap between us caused by our sin and meeting us in kindness through Jesus. How is the fruit of kindness evident in our lives? Where is God leading us to opportunities to display this fruit right now?
