Join us after our Sunday morning worship service for “Adult Forum,” our adult education time that meets during the school year. It is an informal gathering of adults looking to grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus through lively, interactives discussions on Scripture and current topics.
All women are welcome to join this time of Bible study and fellowship, which runs during the school year. We have two sessions on Tuesdays, beginning at 9:30am and 6:15pm. Childcare is available during the morning session for infants and toddlers.
Men’s Life Bible study and fellowship runs from fall through spring. We meet every Wednesday morning from 7-8am at the church in the Great Room for a lively discussion on the selected Bible passage or book for the week. We always begin with a good breakfast and prayer, as well as humorous conversations. All men are welcome!
We have a variety of small groups that meet for Bible or topical study throughout the year. We currently have groups discussing parenting, a young families group, a service projects group, discipleship group, and more. Call the office if you’d like to learn more, or start a group of your own!
Members in the 60+ age range get together every few months for a social outing, usually involving a meal. They’ve also arranged for bus trips to Shipshewana or to Holland to see the tulips. Watch for announcements and sign up to attend.
Are you a pickleball fanatic or new to the game? Either way, you can join us for pickleball in our Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) from fall to spring. Teams and opponents rotate through our three courts with each game. Players of all ages and abilities welcome. Entry fee is $3, loaner equipment available.
Beginning Nov. 6, 2023 our schedule will be: Mondays 6:30-8:30pm, Tuesdays 1-3pm and 6:30-8:30pm, Wednesdays 9-11am, and Saturdays 8-10am. Join our Friendship CRC Pickleball Facebook page for the most up-to-date information.
Join us Thursday nights at 6pm for drop-in gym volleyball in the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC). Competitive but friendly play! Runs October through May.
If you are a prayer warrior or prayer newbie, you are invited to join our prayer group at 9:00am on Sunday mornings to pray for the coming time of worship (in the Prayer Room), or on Wednesdays at 6:00am in the Sanctuary to pray for each other, our church, our community, and our world.
Develop the spiritual discipline of Bible reading with this simple, no-preparation-needed weekly Bible study. Just drop by the church at any one of our meeting times that happens to be convenient for you. All you have to do is show up, listen, and discuss. Our current meeting times are: Tuesdays at 7:30am, Wednesdays at 7:00pm, and Thursdays at noon. Each meeting lasts about an hour.
Want to get to know a small group of people better through informal conversation over good food? Supper Clubs give people a chance to gather together monthly for supper, at homes or in a restaurant, simply to get to know each other. Clubs meet September through May and change every year. Watch for sign-ups in the fall.
Once a month from October to March, our adults are invited into each others’ homes for coffee and cookies to meet new people or catch up with old friends while the kids are in Sunday School. Groups are different every month! Call the office if you’d like to be included as a guest or host for the following month.
We have an annual overnight gathering in early spring for women of all ages. Inspire provides a time to get away and focus on spiritual growth, reflection, worship and fellowship.
