As we continue to make our way through 2 Corinthians, we come to the portion of the letter where Paul is urging the believers to generously participate in giving gifts to those believers in need in Jerusalem. Christians should have a desire to give to those in need because this is we have seen and experienced in Christ. He met us in our need so that we might be lifted up. Paul reminds us here that if we have a willingness to show this grace to others, the amount we give isn’t as important as the fact that we are living according to the way of Christ. Where might the Lord be calling us to exercise the grace of giving in our lives?
