As we turn the calendar to September, there are lots of things starting up again in our lives and at church. With all these things going on, it is good to be reminded of the need for us to regularly practice the fundamentals of who we are as Christians. It is important that we know the truth of God’s Word, but its value is lost when we don’t put it into practice. At Friendship, we use the acronym “FRIEND” to help us think about how we can be living out God’s vision for our lives day after day. Jesus calls us to be good stewards of what he has given to us, and reminds us that those who truly belong to him are those who put his Word into practice.
