This Sunday morning we look forward to giving God thanks for our graduates and celebrating a bit with them. Graduation is a time of transition with all kinds of new possibilities before us, but sometimes we wonder how to live toward these new things when we feel much the same as we did yesterday. The challenge is similar when we think about our lives as Christ-followers. Revelation 21 declares that God has put before us a new reality, a wonderful reality, but in the moment we are still living in a world saturated with the painful realities of the old world. How can we be present in the reality we are living in, while keeping perspective of where God promises things are going?
