This Sunday evening we begin a new series reflecting on the book of 2 Corinthians. By the time Paul is writing this letter, there has been already quite a bit of history between he and the church, and some of it has been quite difficult. However, things are much better as Paul is writing this letter, and we can sense that from the very beginning with his greeting words of grace and peace to the church. As Paul and the church work to reconcile their relationship, we are reminded of how God has worked to reconcile us to himself. The work of reconciliation isn’t easy, but is fundamental to who we are as Christians.
